Dear Friends:

Would you like to have a life-changing and never-to-be forgotten experience? It is our joy to invite you to join us on a trip to the Bible Lands where you will find a new dimension in understanding Christian history and the life of our Lord. We will visit places where Jesus walked, lived, taught, performed miracles, where He was crucified and raised from the dead. We will take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, and observe the Lord's supper at the Garden Tomb. In addition to professional Jewish guides, Dr. Bloom gives a brief Biblical insight at each place in Beulah Land.

Your Daily Itinerary

MON, JAN. 3             Orlando - Tel Aviv
Depart from Orlando on our flight to Frankfurt on Lufthansa. Meals and overnight on board. After dinner relax and enjoy the on-board entertainment.

TUE, JAN 4               Tel Aviv - Tiberias
Arrive Frankfurt and connect on a non-stop flight to Tel Aviv. Arrive at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport and meet our guide who will welcome us to the Land of the Bible and escort us throughout our stay in Israel. Israeli guides are legendary for their knowledge and dedication. Ours will instruct us on the many sites we will visit and their relationship to the religion, history, archaeology, culture, and modern life in Israel. Sit back and relax as we head north to Tiberias through the center of Israel. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Tiberias. Enjoy your first night in a town where Jesus walked.

WED, JAN 5              Caesarea - Sea of Galilee - Nazareth - Capernaum
This day alone is worth the trip! We are now walking in the footsteps of Jesus. We will take a most memorable boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, in a replica of the ancient wooden boat used in Jesus' day. We will visit an ancient boat believed to be from Jesus' time found in the Sea of Galilee in 1986. We walk into old Capernaum with the ancient synagogue; on to the site of the Multiplication  of the Loaves and Fishes (Tabgha), the Sermon on the Mount and the Mount of Beatitudes. After lunch by the Galilee, we drive to Caesarea, site of major events in the lives of Peter and Paul. We will then drive through the rolling hills of the Galilee to Nazareth. We visit Nazareth Village, a re-creation of a working farm and Galilean village as it may have been 2000 years ago. A Christian organization owns and operates this farm. It is truly a window into the life of Jesus, Nazareth's most famous citizen. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Tiberias.

THU, JAN 6                 Sea of Galilee
This morning we will journey to Kfar Kedem. This village takes you to the past. Whether it is making cheese from the milking of the goats, or sitting in the tent for a refreshment and trying on the garb of the old world, to the grinding and baking of the bread. On to Mt.Carmel where Elijah called down fire on the alter. We then visit the Jordan River and have the opportunity for a baptismal service. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

FRI, JAN 7                    Jordan Valley - Petra
Today we will visit Old Geshur, the place where Absolom fled from David after killing his brother. Then we will proceed to Mt. Gilboa, the place where King Saul is killed. While there, we will descend the Mountain to Beit'Shean to see the old Roman road. This is the place where the bodies of Saul and his sons were hung on the wall. From there we proceed to Gideon's Springs where Gideon selected his soldiers to battle against the Midianites. We cross the border into Jordan and travel south to Petra. Dinner and overnight in Petra.

SAT, JAN 8                    Petra
This morning we tour the city of Petra, lost to the world for centuries, the "Rose-Red City Half as Old as Time", lay hidden in the mountains of southern Jordan. We travel on foot through the deep and narrow passages. Horse drawn carriages are available at $50 round trip. The Treasury finally appears magnificently and immediately in front of us after we emerge from what seems like a hundred turns in the ravine. Now, we begin our exploration of what both the Nabateans and Romans left us to witness. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

SUN, JAN 9                    Petra - Dead Sea
Morning depart Petra for Amman. En route visit the holy city of Madaba. It is well known for its outstanding Byzantine mosaics, including the earliest surviving original map of the Holy Land, in a mosaic floor dating to 560 AD. Continue on to visit Mt.Nebo which is reputed to be the tomb of Moses. Visit an ancient church building which houses magnificent mosaics dating back to the 6th century. Proceed to the Israeli border and cross the Allenby bridge into Israel. Dinner and overnight at the Dead Sea.

MON, JAN 10                  Masada - Ein Gedi - Qumran - Valley of Elah
Today we proceed to Masada, overlooking the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth. You will never forget the breathtaking view. On to Ein Gedi where David hid from Saul. See the beautiful waterfalls and the fabled Spring of David. Then we move on to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947. From there we will take a dip in the Dead Sea. Lay back, read a paper, cover yourself in the therapeutic mud of the famous Sea, and enjoy the warmth of the lowest point on earth. It is time now to go up to Jerusalem! We will enter the city with a ceremony of salt welcoming you into the city. I was glad when they said unto me..."Our feet shall stand within thy Gates, O Jerusalem." (Psalm 122:1-2). We will stop at the Valley of Elah where David slew Goliath. You will want to pick up the smooth stones to carry back to the states. Dinner and overnight at Jerusalem.

TUE, JAN 11                     Jerusalem
We will view the old city from the top of the Mount of Olives. We take the Palm walk to the Garden of Gethsemane. We will then enter the Old City through the Lions' Gate to the Muslim Quarter, visit the beautiful Church of St. Anne (and sing) followed by the Pool of Bethesda, Pilate's Judgement Hall, and the Ecce Homo Arch. Walk along the Via Dolorosa, into the Christian Quarter. On to the Western Wall, the Western Wall Tunnel and the Southern Temple Staircase. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

WED, JAN 12                    Jerusalem
The day begins by driving to Mount Zion to see the House of Caiaphas and the Upper Room of the Last Supper. On to Golgotha (Gordon's Calvary) and the empty Garden Tomb. A special time is planned for worship, Communion, meditation, and inspiration. After lunch, we will visit Yad Vashem, The Holocaust museum. The evening will conclude with a Farewell Dinner and the presentation of a Certificate of Pilgrimage to each tour Participant.

Thu, Jan 13                     Tel Aviv - Orlando
Early this morning we transfer to the airport. Our guide will assist us with check-in procedures. Depart on our flight home. We arrive home today with wonderful memories of a visit to the Land of the Bible!

Have a Very Pleasant Journey!
